Lee Manor Hotel Xiamen is located on Gulangyu Island, a world cultural heritage site. It is adjacent to Lin Yutang's former residence and Gulangyu music school. It is only 100 meters away from the people's stadium. Not far away is Doctor Lin Qiaozhi's Memorial Garden (Yuyuan).
The predecessor of the hotel is Li Jiazhuang, which was built in 1920. The builder is Mr. Li Qingquan, the timber king of Nanyang. Today, the old villa, which has experienced a hundred years, has been renovated with traditional materials and techniques, and has become a Lijiazhuang hotel with a beautiful accommodation experience.
In order to more perfectly reproduce the charm of key historical buildings, Li Jiazhuang invited Fang Lingjia, a famous local designer, to design. Inspired by the period of the Republic of China in Gulangyu, Li Jiazhuang recreated and sublimated every detail of the guest room. He used wooden furniture that mended the old as new, imported square red bricks, retro lamps and artistic wall hanging, etc, They try their best to maintain the memory of the Republic of China period of Gulangyu.
Lijiazhuang returns to its original simplicity, with study, coffee shop, sunshine courtyard and other shared space to reproduce the original appearance of the old villa. Here, you can immerse yourself in the sea of books, taste coffee, walk leisurely, stay away from the glitz and noise of the city, and enjoy the beauty of life.
